About The Event
Join DEEP Foundation Inc and the National Parks Conservation Association in a Dive Against Debris with Captain Slates Scuba Adventures in the Florida Keys. The cost of this dive is $50 and includes Dive Against Debris Specialty Training and Certification, Boat Charter and Gear (BCD, Regulator, Octopus, Gauges, Tanks & Weights). This is an excellent opportunity to obtain your PADI AWARE Dive Against Debris Specialty and use your new skills to help keep our reefs pristine.
Gloves, Mesh Bags and Sea Snips will be provided by SEAFAN. We cannot guarantee glove availability or sizes for all participants so please bring your own if you have them.
Reef safe sunscreen will be provided by Stream2Sea. If you do not have your own reef safe sunscreen, please use ours.
Agenda:
9:00 AM: Meet at the Holiday Inn in Key Largo for our Dive Against Debris Specialty Class with PADI Instructor James McGlynn. The course as well as the PADI Aware Dive Against Debris Certification card is included in the cost of the dive.
